Allegheny County C-PACE

The Allegheny County Council passed a resolution to implement C-PACE in September 2019. County leadership, including County Council members, Director of Economic Development, Lance Chimka, and Chair of the County’s Economic Development and Housing Committee, Dewitt Walton, recognized the program’s potential as a job-creator and an opportunity to invest in the health and longevity of their built environment.

Allegheny County commercial and industrial properties, agriculture interests, and nonprofits, with the aid of capital providers, can finance clean energy projects through C-PACE once a program administrator is chosen.
